AWICS is a locally owned independent water management consultancy company dedicated to providing high quality Consultancy and Solutions. The owner, Dr. Hana AlMaskati, has over 30 years conversed experience in the industry, and uses that knowledge to support the communities we are committed in.

 

AWICS provides decisive solutions to the sustainability challenges faced by customers in all sectors, modern businesses in the retail, industrial, construction, and tourism sectors. It provides NRW consultancy and solution services throughout the GCC Countries and the Middle East region. This includes NRW audits for Water Utility companies, water balance calculations, NRW Strategy, solutions on water loss management, consult on, and to resolve issues relating to NRW, consulting advisory, and knowledge transfer for the development of NRW awareness and training plan.

Dr. Hana is a life member in the Institute of Bahrain Society of Engineers BSE, Water Science and Technology Association WSTA, American Water Works Association AWWA, and International Water Association IWA. She is a long standing member of the International Water Association (IWA), and was a management member of IWA Water Loss Specialist Group (WLSG) for 2 years (2018 – 2020) and was reelected for another 2 more years (2020 – 2022). Dr. Hana is a certified arbitrator in Civil Engineering. She received several Appreciation and Honorary certifications.

Dr. Hana worked for 30 years in Bahrain water utility EWA. She has wide experience based on numerous activities for water utilities in the region; she is a specialist in demand management water loss management (NRW and leakage control), and civil engineering for clean water.

Dr. Hana is an expert in NRW programs and strategies development, demand management, team management and leadership skills.

​

Dr. Hana has published numerous papers in local and international journals. She is a regular speaker at local and international conferences.She left EWA in 2019 to form her own consultancy. AWICS Ltd.
